How to Read These Numbers
MSP Salary Range: What the MSP actually pays. Based on Glassdoor, SEEK, and direct reports.
Client Billing Rate: What the MSP charges the client per hour for your time. Based on ASX filings, contract leaks, and industry benchmarks.
Your Arbitrage: The annual difference between what you're paid and what the client pays for your labour. This is what the MSP pockets after accounting for overhead (super, insurance, tools, management).
The Real Question
If your MSP charges $180/hr for your work and pays you $90,000/yr, that's a $280,000 gap. Even after overhead (20-25%), the MSP is clearing $50,000-80,000 per year off your labour alone.
